A researcher in the Applied Nutrition Laboratory at the Higher School of Agronomic Sciences, Claudine has carried out research into the nutritional value of wild edible resources. She has carried out nutritional analyses in the laboratory, highlighting the high protein content of foza orana or marbled crayfish (Procambarus fallax forma). About the RESSALIM project (Ressources Sauvages Comestibles pour la Sécurité Alimentaire) that can also be translated as Edible Wild Resources for Food Security , the aim of the study is to enhance the value of these resources in the Itasy region through nutritional analysis, with a view to contributing to the fight against malnutrition in the region.
